Recently, I've made some moves to make my painting kit lighter, just so that I can have a smaller bundle to carry into birthday parties and short-term events.

Just a week or so ago, I washed my brushes and sponges for an event i had the following day in the morning. I threw my sponges into a mesh bag and into the dryer as I normally do. But this time I also threw in a half dozen smoothie blenders.

BIG MISTAKE

smoothie blenders do not survive the bounce and tumble of a dryer machine very well. Luckily, I have far more smoothie blenders than I need.
